Past Action Teams

Russia Action Team

The Russia Action Team was active from 2002 to 2006 and its work included coordinating a speaking tour for Chechen human rights activists Eliza Moussaeva and Bela Tsugaeva (below, left) and organizing demonstrations at the Russian Consulate in New York City.

Group 133 continues to provide assistance to the Imakaev family (below, right), who have relocated to the Boston area after the "disappearance" of the father and eldest son of the family.

Andes Action Team

The Andes Action Team was active from 1998 to 2001 and worked on many projects such as organizing workshops at AIUSA's Northeast Regional Conference and peaceful demonstrations at the Colombian Consulate in New York City during "Get on the Bus" (below).

Group 133 continues to write letters to the Colombian and US governments on behalf of the victims of human rights violations in Colombia.
