Learn about Iqbal Masih, a young Pakistani boy who was sold into slavery as a bonded laborer at the age of four, and was later killed for speaking out against child labor. 5. American Federation of Teachers Union's curriculum guide, resources and video kit for teachers in all
   grades called "Lost Futures: the Problem of Child Labor." For $15 teachers can order the curriculum
   which includes a 15 minute video and a packed three ring binder, filled with activities and fact sheets.

   hired workers. Also includes a youth employment and training component (providing educational stipends
   and alternative educational support for children). Not focused at all on children who work for their
   parents on family farms

9. Student led, new campaign to attack poverty and promote education indeveloping countries:
   Operation Day's Work - USA (modeled after the Norwegian campaign).
   Students have chosen to help children to help themselves in Haiti and El Salvador
   in this new campaign's first two years. Any school in the U.S. can join.

10. Student "Online March" to pressure governments around the world to "ratify" the new, international
   child labor laws known as ILO 182. The ILO is a wing of the United Nations which is responsible for
   workers of all ages in all countries. The U.S. ratified ILO 182 last December when the U.S. Senate
   voted 96-0 to send the treaty to President Clinton. President Clinton signed 182 into U.S. law.
